Auditor / Tax / VAT Professional, Milton Keynes
Client: Bluecube
Position: Audit / Tax Professional
Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Salary: £Negotiable
COMPANY:
Progressive company based in Milton Keynes, with ambition to expand significantly in the coming years, seeks an experienced audit professional with comprehensive Tax knowledge.
ROLE:
The role is to develop this new area of work from scratch; put in place the systems and procedures to enable the growth of this area of work and keep in-house rather than outsource.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Production of Statutory accounts to comply with Company House and HMRC legislation.
b) Production of audit files to back financial statements.
c) CT600 Corporation Tax returns.
d) Offer tax advice to our clients.
e) Client compliance.
f) Auditing internal departments and procedures to ensure best practice.
g) Canvassing for new work (with the sales team).
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Experience of working in an audit / tax professional role.
b) Good communicator.
c) Methodical approach.
d) Attention to detail.
e) Ability to keep information accurately in order that processes can easily be followed.
f) Team player.
You may have experience in the following roles: Audit Professional, Tax Professional, Internal Auditor, Audit Executive, Senior Auditor, External Auditor, Tax Manager, Tax Analyst, Tax Accountant, VAT Manager, VAT Analyst, VAT Accountant etc.
