Job Description
Large travel organisation based in London are looking for a Finance Operations Manager to establish the accounts processing function (payables, receivable and refunds) in the most effective business model to deliver service and support to the business. You will be responsible for reviewing current operational accounting functions and recommending a new structure to effectively support the business in the future.
This role will have 2 direct reports plus another 40 staff split between a number of different locations. Candidates are likely to have gained experience in a large central finance function or shared service centre. You must possess strong leadership skills to help them drive change across the business.
Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you must have the ability to make an immediate impact to help improve things initially whilst at the same time adopting a longer term, strategic view.
This role will last for a minimum of 12 months with the potential to extend. Candidates will be considered on maximum 2 weeks notice.
