Job Description
This excellent opportunity for a Fund Reporting Accountant has arisen within a highly respected Top Tier Asset Management firm. Our client provides a diverse range of traditional, alternative and real estate investment solutions to private clients, financial intermediaries and institutional investors around the globe. Their goal is to deliver long-term, consistent results for clients through our integrated investment platforms.
The main duties of the Fund Reporting Accountant include:
-Authentication and reconciliation of all nominal ledger accounts.
-Preparation of annual and interim report and accounts for OEIC's and Unit Trusts, including proof reading and producing template for external printers.
-Train new staff and give effective feedback to team leader.
-Ensure compliance with applicable Accounting Standards and FSA Regulations.
-Calculation of income and accumulation distributions at fund, share class and client level.
-Review tax computations and liaise with tax advisors.
-Liaise with auditors.
-Preparation of VAT returns.
-Liaise with NAV-Calculation department, Unit dealing, Fund Managers and other internal
departments.
Our client is seeking candidates with strong experience of OEIC/Unit Trust fund reporting/accounting experience and who possess a sound knowledge of the financial industry and is partly qualified through a recognised professional accounting qualification.
