Job Description
Public Sector organisation with offices in Wakefield currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to report into the Assistant Director of Financial Services. Looking after a team of 4, you will manage the financial and capital accounting function including managing the production of the statutory accounts and financial information.
You will manage the day to day activities of the accounts team, including the prioritisation of work within the department in order to achieve the optimum use of staff and resources available to you.
This is an all encompasing role covering the management of the daily ledger maintenance through to the management accounts preparation and audit. You will need to be a strong people manager with excellent time management skills and previous experience of completing statutory financial accounts.
In order to be considered for this position you must be a qualified accountant with finance and capital accounting experienc, with a working knowledge of accounting rules for charities.
