Job Description

This excellent opportunity for a Product Controller - FX Cash Utility has arisen within a highly respected Top Tier Investment Bank. Our client is a leading global investment bank with a strong and profitable private clients franchise. A leader in Germany and Europe, the bank is continuously growing in North America, Asia, and key emerging markets.

The Finance - FX Business Area Control (BAC) comprises of 8 people who support the FX Cash and Options businesses. The candidate will be placed in the FX Cash business (3 people). The bank operates a round-the-clock global trading book which is controlled in London.

The key responsibilities for the Product Controller - FX Cash Utility include:
-To ensure that adequate and effective controls exist over the pricing & accounting of the business
& its balance sheet.
-Production of daily P/L for several businesses.
-Running daily PV & Risk runs for the portfolio within the risk management system.
-Production of daily/weekly/monthly commentaries.
-Liaison with front office and controlling staff across several business lines and geographical
locations.
-Setting up new utility P/L's / co-ordination of all required departments (Front Office, Finance,
Operations, etc.).

The suitable candidate should be a newly qualified accountant/CPA with financial services experience. This presents a great opportunity for a commercially minded individual to add value in a proactive relationship led organisation
