FUND ACCOUNTANT- POOLED FUNDS (Part Qualified)
£40,000+ Inc. Bonus & Benefits

Who they are
Mid sized Asset Manager with £30billion+ assets under management. They operate globally and specialise in Equities specifically for Institutional clients. They offer various equity products including EAFE, Global, Japan and European, through segregated client mandates and via expanding pooled vehicles.
They are currently looking to recruit a Fund Accountant to work within the Pooled Fund Accounting team.
What you will be doing
As a Fund Accountant you will analyse and oversee production of interim and final year end financial statements for each of the pooled funds. The role will involve liaising with Custodians, Trustees and Auditors. Production and distribution of the information will be sent to internal and external parties, this will include funds under management information and audit requests. On a monthly and quarterly basis you will produce client valuation reports, including Balance Sheets, Income and Expenditure reports, Cash Flow Analysis and Commissions Reporting. You will also be responsible for the production of Executive Summary reports that will prepared for the Head of Finance.
What they are looking for
You will have a strong background in Financial Services- Preferably Investment Management. You will use your past experience and knowledge of producing and analysing statements for Pooled Fund Vehicles to perform in this role immediately.
You will have good experience and knowledge of producing and analysing financial statements that have been prepared using SORP's, GAAP and IRFS. You will be a part qualified Accountant and an understanding of Fund Valuation and Pricing would be an advantage.
