Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified ACA, ACCA or strong AAT with a solid accounting background gained in industry or practice.
Applicants will have an eye for detail, good accounting and spreadsheet skills and the enthusiasm and drive to progress in arguably the most exciting accountancy discipline there is - Forensic.
Assignments undertaken by the team fall into two categories, criminal and civil. Criminal cases involve assisting the prosecution or defence in cases such as fraud, interviewing suspects and witnesses, analysing financial evidence and compiling findings in an "expert report" for use in court.
Civil assignments arise when there is a dispute between individuals or corporates and involve discussions with the disputing parties and their legal advisers, share valuations, consequential loss assessments, the writing of an expert report for use in achieving a settlement between the parties either through the courts, arbitration or mediation.
