Job Description
Assistant Accountant required for my client based in Crewe. Due to an internal promotion, an Assistant Accountant is required by my client in Crewe. Reporting to the Finance Manager and working in a small team of 5, this varied role includes Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, maintenance of bank accounts and Nominal Ledger duties. Other ad hoc finance duties will also be passed over depending on the experience of the candidate.
Recent and relevant experience is essential for this role, from either an accounts environment or a relevant degree (raw graduates will be considered). You will be looking to progress your career both professionally and academically by studying AAT or ACCA / CIMA. Being a team player is key for this position, you must be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to your work and be prepared to undertake a variety of ad hoc duties when required.
My client are a market leader in their field that are undergoing growth across the entire finance function. They are a registered Investor in People and not only offer excellent progression opportunities, but also support all members of staff in furthering their career. This has lead to a low staff turnover and excellent atmosphere in the offices.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
