Job Description
Accounts Assistant required in a fast changing, fast moving accountancy team. The role will include working closely with the Finance Manager and other clerical staff, doing such duties as banking, bank reconciliations, and all round accountancy responsibilities including that of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and any other ad hoc duties.
The ideal candidate is someone with working experience within accounts. You should have good attention to detail and excellent communication skills. You will need to be a flexible individual who is willing to turn their hand to whatever might need doing in the department and have strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience within a similar role would be beneficial.
My client is a leading integrated provider of broking and consulting services to the global shipping industry. Its business is operated in four business segments: shipbroking, logistics, technical services and environmental services. The company has offices worldwide and really supports and looks after its staff.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
