Management Accountant Private Equity
London
£40000- £50000 + bonus + benefits
The Company
They are an independent investment firm with over 600 million under management and are in the process of launching a new fund. The firm is based in London and invests principally in European private equity, acquiring whole portfolios from private equity firms and corporations rather than single companies or fund interests.
The Role
Reporting to the financial controller the role is very varied. The role includes preparing monthly management accounts for the group including its 2 FSA authorized management companies, liaising with Guernsey resident administrators in relation to the offshore management companies and preparation of the year end statutory accounts for UK resident companies and liaison with auditors and tax advisors. You would prepare and submit VAT and FSA returns, issue sales invoices and manage the recharges between group companies, assist in the preparation of the annual budget and approval of payments. You will draft tax computations for management companies prior to review by external advisers and monitor of UK transfer pricing requirements, prepare tax data for the members of the LLP. You will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual cash projections for the management companies and complete monthly bank account reconciliations. You will assist compliance officer with monitoring procedures. You will also be involved in founder partner administration and support the financial controller liaising with third party administrators and responsible for maintaining/monitoring financial data on specified portfolio companies.
