Job Description
This leading global financial services provider offers an impressive array of products and services in equity and fixed income capital markets. We are looking for a Product Control Manager to perform the function of being the key day to day finance contact for the trading businesses providing daily profit and loss reporting and business unit balance sheet control. In addition value added services include adhoc analysis and reporting, driving process improvement, ensuring integrity of front to back process.
This position is responsible for the product control function for the 3 main business areas:
? Financial Spread betting
? Sport
? CFDs
The incumbent is required to be a qualified accountant, having ownership of all finance matters for the Group and effectively operating as the business unit CFO.
Responsibilities will include:
? Managing a team of 3 product controllers
? Operating as the CFO facing of to the business heads
? Reviewing daily revenue production and control
? Reviewing daily finance and operational controls
? Performing and reviewing month end controls and reconciliations
? Defining and driving process improvement
? Provision of cost analysis to the business
? Adhoc business support on finance issues eg. Tax.
? Staff development and recruitment
A brokerage background will be useful otherwise this role could appeal to a Product Controller within a large investment bank that requires more responsibility and a more diverse opportunity. AM92223.
