Job Description
A new opportunity has arisen for a Business Manager within the Venture Capital business line of this private equity firm. You will be responsible for the financial and operational management of our clients portfolio team.
Our client a world leader in private equity, who works with talented management teams to develop businesses that have potential for significant growth. They have a network of offices worldwide including Europe, Asia and the US, and have made investments in more than 30.
The key responsibilities for the Business Manager include:
-Co-ordinate updating of business plan with input from the venture portfolio team
-Generate and agree KPIs with the leadership team and monitor and communicate business
performance versus these KPIs
-Ensure the leadership team has relevant and timely financial information to make informed
decisions to run the business (e.g. forecasts for returns, investment, divestment, valuations)
-Prepare and deliver quarterly fund performance packs to the partner group and carry holders
-Set objectives and manage the portfolio administrator and any venture accounting support team to meet their objectives
Our client is seeking a qualified accountant who is familiar with working in Private Equity, Banking or a Professional Services environment. You should also have experience of working with and contributing at a senior level in an organisation.
