A vacancy has arisen for a Sales Support Administrator in Guildford to work on a 6 month contract within this major life and pensions company.

Job Profile
A vacancy has arisen for a Sales Support Administrator in Guildford to work on a 6 month contract within this major life and pensions company. The position will involve supporting Sales Consultants, to maximise the effectiveness of building relationships with their IFA’s. Ensuring maximum efficiency by also working within a team in order to reach and exceed the branch target. Acting as the main point of contact for IFA’s, leaving the consultants to concentrate on new sales opportunities by managing the administration and proactively seeking new business. Providing information to IFA’s, which is compliant, accurate and professionally presented. Ensuring the product and package are accurate NB quotations, ensuring all relevant supporting literature is compliant. Monitoring case progress through to policy extraction, credit and commission payments. Identifying sales opportunities and effectively communicating these to the consultant to ensure opportunities to secure new business are maximised. Providing branch management with accurate business information when requested. Maintaining phone cover at all times in line with branch service standards.

Applicant Requirements
Prospective applicants must have good overall knowledge of products, generic pensions and investments. Experience of working in a similar environment and the ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team. Must pay good attention to detail and be able to prioritise work types throughout the day whilst ensuring that tasks are completed within branch working standards. Must be able to remain calm under pressure with a positive attitude and the ability to work on own initiative. Parts 1 and 2 of the FPC (or equivalent) are desirable but are not essential.
