Job Description

A new vacancy for a Financial Services Team Leader to join the Leeds branch for a reputable Actuary and Consultancy firm. You must hold a minimum of Part 1 of the FPC or equivalent and have relevant experience.

Job Profile
Our client a reputable Actuary & Consultancy firm are now seeking a Team Leader to be based in their Leeds City Centre Practice where you will provide proactive administration and sales support to the Consultants predominantly dealing with Group Pension Schemes. You will supervise and also process new business through to sign off and be responsibility to supervise and service existing business. You will build and maintain effective relationships with clients, providers and colleagues, identify training/team development and be responsible for the motivation of team members. This is an excellent opportunity for any Team Leader with Life and Pensions administration experience seeking to work for a reputable and long established organisation offering long-term career prospects and the opportunity to develop as you will be able to work towards becoming an Administration Manager should a position become available. In addition to your role you will be required to be flexible as you will be required to attend quarterly Managers Meetings which will be held at various locations.

Applicant Requirements
It is essential that all applicants applying for this vacancy should have a good working knowledge of Life Pensions and Investments. You will have team leading/supervisory experience and be able to deal with people at all levels. You will have experience of conducting 1:1s and appraisals and have the ability to ensure the smooth running of a practice. A minimum of FPC 1 or equivalent will be required and you must have a desire to complete.
