Job Description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join Siemens Real Estate in our Frimley Headquarters.

 

The Role

This role will involve effectively controlling the financial records of SRE to meet business objectives and ensure statutory and corporate compliance are undertaken. You will ensure the financial records booked in SAP support the underlying transactions of the business. In accordance to company timetables you will prepare the SRE trial balance to final review stage, ensuring that it is supported by valid month end and documented reconciliations. You will also undertake the financial reporting in accordance with Siemens corporate guidelines and timetables as well as other financial and management reporting – CIO reporting, CF&C requirements, SRE HQ reports, SRE internal reports monitoring expenditure against budget. You will be required to assist with Sarbanes Oxley activity within the business to identify and mitigate financial risks and follow up and implement financial procedures identified for improvement following audit.

 

The Person

This position will suit a top-tier individual who is ACCA or CIMA qualified and is looking for a challenging opportunity within a rapidly changing environment with a strong commercial interaction. We are looking for a sharp-minded individual who is self-motivated and who has an in depth knowledge of IFRS and UKGAAP as well as SAP experience. You must possess experience of statutory accounts preparation. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills along with good customer focus.
