My client is developing a ?New Markets Client Coverage Group` who will be responsible for corporate clients in non-presence countries. These regions are the CIS, Eastern Europe and Africa to name a few.
Their clients are blue chip corporations where there are considerable fee prospects. Their product focus is on debt origination (bonds, syndicated lending, secured lending and related hedging), Equity Capital Markets and M&A advisory.
This role is based in London and the successful candidates will be working within the New Markets team along with senior staff to successfully originate investment and commercial banking mandates. The Analyst will be part of a growing team of professionals based in London and work in close collaboration with Product Teams, Risk, Compliance, Industry Teams and other stakeholders.
Your role will be to prepare material for client and internal presentations. To undertake company valuations, including financial modelling with a focus on capital structuring and leveragability of prospective clients. To be successful you will be willing to attend client meetings and presentations where appropriate. You must research and monitor the developments or trends in the region as well as maintaining data on countries and leading companies in the region. One of the exciting aspects of this role is you will be involved in client contact and expected to travel in the CEEMEA region.
You must have had transactional experience with Bonds, Loans, M&A or ECM or ideally a combination to be considered. You must have good relationship skills and keenness to understand the client`s needs. Regional language skills is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
