Job Profile
You will be responsible for assisting in the management of the small business account with the objective of delivering the profitable growth of the account through; monitoring of account performance, control of underwriting standards, product enhancements and business development activity. In conjunction with the Statistical and Pricing Support team, you will be responsible for assisting with monitoring the performance of accounts and lines of business, implementing agreed remedial and opportunity actions as appropriate. Other duties will include assisting with continual product development, providing support to managers and account developers with business development opportunities including suitable technological solutions. You will also ensure regulatory requirements within the small business sector are adhered to along with being a point of technical referral for the SME commercial teams.

Applicant Requirements
Prospective applicants are required to hold sound underwriting skills with an awareness of financial Key Performance Indicators. With excel capabilities, individual will have suitable experience in commercial underwriting experience; previous experience of handling SME / package business is not essential. Personal attributes are to include confident, innovative thinker, able to work quickly and accurately in a busy challenging environment. Excellent written and verbal skills.
