Job Description
Management Accountant required to work for a Housing Trust based close to the City of Manchester. As the management accountant your will be reporting into the Head of Management Accounts you will be required to prepare monthly management accounts for the housing and resources directorates, along with preparing balance sheet reconciliations and reviewing overheads and providing variance analysis. You will also be required to review budgets and cost centres with all of the trust's managers.
The client has requested that you will be Part Qualified in either CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA and have the ability to demonstrate effective communication skills, along with a professional approach and a can do attitude. Having previous experience of using Open Accounts would be a great advantage but is not essential.
Located within an easy commute from the City Centre of Manchester this independent local housing company was set up by the Council back in 2005. They exist to supply and manage quality affordable homes, and give housing advice and support to people in housing need.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
