Job Profile
Working with the Commercial Manager, duties will include directing, organising, developing and managing the portfolio team, so as to ensure that people are available and aligned with business needs. Responsibilities will include supporting the Commercial Manager and Product Leader to develop the annual business plan for the commercial property portfolio, underwriting new and existing corporate Property business along with developing strong relationships with new and existing brokers and clients. Other duties will include supporting the development of cross class business opportunities and participating in the review and analysis of the portfolio to identify progress towards the business plan.

Applicant Requirements
The successful applicant will have a high level of technical expertise underwriting a broad range of commercial property business including larger risks along with strong negotiation skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Local market awareness and broker relationships will be held along with experience of broker development acumen.
