Job Description
Compliance and Reporting Manage required for a Maternity Cover to work closely with the Divisional Management Team, the underwriting teams and Group Compliance. The role will involve producing various underwriting management reports across all marine classes of business, being the main divisional interface with Group Audit assisting in their reviews and preparation of their reports and reviewing findings and draft reports, helping the budget holders in the annual budget creation process, and you will be the first point of contact for regulatory and compliance bulletins.
The successful candidate should be a fully Qualified accountant, preferably from a Financial Services background within the insurance sector. You should have the ability to summarise complex regulatory information and analyse for business relevance, have analytical skills with a mathematical bias, and strong communication / interpersonal skills, and organisational skills.
Our client is a specialist insurance and reinsurance underwriting group, listed on the London Stock Exchange. This role is as the main accountant for the corporate companies within the Group including the ultimate parent company, the group managing agent and the corporate services.
