Job Description
NHS organisation is urgently seeking an experienced management accountant for a six month assignment. The role revolves around financial management and therefore will involve a variety of duties across different divisions; Responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance team responsible for the monthly management accounting process, ensuring the correct accounting treatment. Forecasting, variance analysis, and analysis of activity Reference Costing apportionment and profiling of costs.
Our client is seeking a candidate who can show a good feel for financial management within the NHS sector. They are expecting familiarity with the way they produce budgets; liaise with budget holders and NHS terminology. It is unlikely therefore that you will have a non NHS background. In addition to management accounts they are looking for a candidate who can make a quick and positive impact.
Our client is a large NHS organisation with high profile in the region Their role is to deliver a wide a medical and clinical services to the local population. They are happy to offer flexible working and a within easy reach for all types of public transport. The organisation is about to embark on a permanent recruitment drive so it is likely that other opportunities may arise in due course.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
