Job Description
A vacancy has arisen for a Management Accountancy Assistant to be involved in all aspects of the preparation and monitoring of budgetary control information and providing financial advice to designated budget managers. The role will involve budget review and providing incisive commentary as to why budgets have varied plus or minus to the budget plan. The role will also involve assisting the directorate accountant with the preparation of monthly management accounts and detailed analysis for the management team
The preferred candidate will be AAT qualified or a part qualified accountant actively studying . An NHS background would be a distinct advantage in this role but other sector experience will also be considered. The ability to produce and monitor budgets is essential as well as the ability to assist in the production of monthly management accounts. This is important as the post holder will be responsible for preparing budgets, analysing variances and agreeing corrective action in conjunction with Budget Managers. The duties will include the use of the Trust's Integra general ledger system
