Job Description
Our client is seeking a determined and focused person to join a successful finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will get involved in all the management reporting for the organisation; You will also be expected to pull your weight in providing necessary numbers to facilitate the budget setting process; The client also requires a summary detailing reasons for any variations to the projected budget spend; Use of spreadsheets to an intermediate level including pivot tables and lookups is also a part of the job.
The client is seeking someone who is looking to work within the charity sector but who also has the necessary skills to do very good job. It is expected that you will be AAT or Part Qualified and be able to demonstrate a background of producing monthly management accounts. Flexibility is important as they are also looking for someone to handle the ledger processing as well as manage the management accounts & budgeting process. They are anticipating someone who can use Excel to intermediate level as well as use Sage Line 50 to a reasonable standard.
Our client is a small not for profit entity with a with an important role in the local community. They have been in existence for a number of years and so are well established. With a brief to enhance the quality of life for those it cares for provide a useful service helping our community.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
