Job Description
Our client requires a highly motivated and able person to join the finance team. The role will involve producing monthly management accounts; Considerable involvement in the budget setting process; effectively monitoring the budget highlighting variances. You will also be expected to produce a detailed commentary explaining reasons for any variations to the projected spend. The organisation use Sage line 50 a major part of the role will maintain the accounts system using the accounts package and producing the necessary reports for management.
The client is seeking someone who is looking to work within the charity sector but who also has the necessary skills to do an excellent job. It is expected that you will be AAT or Part Qualified and be able to demonstrate a background of producing monthly management accounts. Versatility is important as they are also looking for someone to handle the transaction processing as well as manage the management accounts & budgeting process. They are expecting someone who can use Excel to intermediate level as well as use Sage Line 50 proficiently.
Our client is a small charity organisation with a with a positive role in the local community. They have a good pedigree and been in the area for a substantial period of time. With a brief to raise the life chances of those in its care they certainly provide a necessary service helping the in most vulnerable in the region .
