Job Description
Assistant Accountant required to assist with monthly management accounts and to get involved in grant funding applications ensuring that the necessary funds are fully drawn down from various funding sources. this role will involve significant involvement with budget holders ,stakeholders and representatives of the funding organisations.
The client is ideally seeking a part qualified or AAT qualified accountant although consideration may be given to those candidates who can demonstrate a background in the grant funded sector. The role is a versatile one and you will be expected to get involved in assisting the management accountant and head of finance to produce monthly management accounts. Finally communication skills are important as you will be liaising with a variety of stakeholders some of which have little or no finance training.
My client is a not for profit organization based Shropshire. The aim is offer offers something unique to its target audience, at the same time to fulfill the common aim of providing first class opportunities. They offer a smart new environment which is close to transport links and free on site parking.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
