Job Description
Treasury Assistant required to provide administrative support to the Treasury team and department. You will be responsible for managing sterling and currency cash pools, carry out treasury management and settlements, managing bank accounts, making charges and interest apportionments, and managing relationships with operating units and relationships with banks. In addition you will be responsible for the principle back office functions such as bank account maintenance and reconciliation, interest apportionments, deal confirmations, investigations and bank charges.
Applicants MUST have proven treasury experience, that they are able to apply in their next role. This is a specialist role, requiring specialist experience, and only candidates with treasury experience need apply. Proficiency with an IT accounts package is essential, and candidates must have proven experience within a highly corporate company, ideally within blue-chip financial services. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, be able to work to their own initiative and have a general accounting qualification, such as AAT.
