Job Description
Payroll Clerk required for an ongoing temporary contract working for an organisation in the public sector with a view to start immediately. You will be working as part of a small payroll team and will be responsible for processing the payroll for approximately 150 employees on a weekly basis. You must have experience dealing with starters and leavers, holiday pay, tax, national insurance, SSP, SMP, manual calculations and dealing with payroll queries.
My client is looking for someone with experience working within a similar role who will be able to join the business and hit the ground running. You will enjoy working as part of a team and will be able to work using your own initiative. You must have experience working on a computerised accounts package and excellent communication skills are a must.
My client are a business based in the public sector with an open and friendly culture based in West Bromwich. This company is easily accessible by both bus and train, offers parking on site, operate a flexible working hours policy and casual dress policy.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
