Job Description
Credit Controller is required to work within a busy credit control environment reporting directly to the Credit Manager. This is a straight credit control position no cash allocation. You will be required to chase payment on ledgers with approx 2m outstanding. You will chase by phone, fax, email and occasionally letter. Query management is a huge part of this role. You will dealing with a variety of clients including large corporate operations and small local companies.
You should have previous credit control experience and have experience of query resolution. If you are tenacious and have excellent communication skills you will have the skills to deal with the high volumes of queries that you experience within this department. This will be working as part of a team of 5 people reporting to the Credit Manager.
Our client is an analysis specialist with an annual turnover of around 65m there are well established. They specialize in 4 main areas Food, Land, Water, Site Service. Thus they have 4 separate ledgers within credit control. Our client has 15 sites who require regular communication however this particular role is based in the Chester area. With this credit control opportunity our client offers a competitive salary, 25days holiday and free parking.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
