Job Description

Payroll Assistant required to work as part of the payroll team assisting with the timely and accurate processing of payrolls. You will be providing a professional and confidential service to all internal and external customers. Key responsibilities will involve input and checking of starters, leavers and payroll amendments including change of details forms. You will also be checking and inputting employee expenses, fuel card statement production and processing, checking and inputting tax code changes.
You will have previous high volume payroll experience and accurate keyboard skills. You will also have good knowledge of excel spreadsheets and word processing. Furthermore, you will be able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines, have good organisational skills and telephone manner. A pro active and helpful attitude will also be beneficial.
My client is based in Solihull with short walking distance of the local shops and restaurants. The working hours are 9am - 5.30pm with one hour for lunch. Professional training will be available once a successful probation period has taken place. My client also offers a good pension scheme.
