Job Description
Payroll Administrator required to work in a busy payroll department reporting directly to the payroll manager. You will be working on a weekly payroll for over 1200 employees and although manual calculations are not a major part of the role dealing with queries will be one of your duties therefore some knowledge of how to calculate payroll manually will be advantageous.
You should have previous payroll experience dealing with all aspects including P45, P46, P6, sick pay, maternity pay, tax codes, setting up new starters bank accounts etc. The payroll will be split between 3 administrators and the Payroll Manager and will be split equally. You will be responsible for dealing with any queries with the support of the Payroll Manager.
Our client is a global leader in recycled products and environmental services, managing over 8.5 million tonnes a year of materials from consumers, industry and demolition works. This is an additional role as their payroll department is expanding therefore you will be working with an existing stable and experienced team. Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
