Job Description

Purchase Ledger Clerk Immediately required. This post will ideally suit a well organised individual who can demonstrate previous relevant Purchase Ledger experience ideally gained within a high Volume Purchase Ledger environment. You will match incoming invoices, correct discrepancies, reconcile accounts, organise and allocate manual cheques and automatic payments BACS etc and deal with supplier queries in a timely efficient manner. You will also help with general administration and other accounts duties in this busy team.
You must be available immediately . Purchase Ledger Clerk with experience of high volume invoices. You must be able to communicate at all levels, be confident, co-operative and have flexible approach to working. Good PC (Excel) and systems skills (AS 400/JD Edwards) are ideal, although training can be given. You must be able to work on your own initiative or in a team.
My client a major manufacturing company based in Telford. They are looking for an experienced purchase ledger clerk to join their friendly team. My client is easily accessible by public transport and offers subsidised dining facilities and free car parking.
