Job Description
A Payroll Clerk is required to join a friendly team in Salford Quays. Reporting to the payroll manager you will be responsible for running your own weekly, monthly and lunar payrolls ensuring employees are paid accurately, calculating SSP, SMP, tax and NI, answering and dealing with payroll queries, providing support to outside companies and other ad hoc duties.
The successful candidate must have recent, relevant payroll experience and have knowledge of tax tables and how to calculate gross and net pay. You must be a team player, as you will be joining a medium sized team of Payrollers. You must have a keen eye for detail and be able to adapt to different systems and procedures.
