Job Description
Payroll Clerk required urgently to join a very busy NHS payroll department. Reporting into the Payroll Manager you will be required to take over one of the main payrolls for the NHS. Key duties will include; inputting weekly and monthly payroll; processing SSP, SMP, NI, tax; reconciling the payroll; answering queries relating to payroll.
The successful candidate must have recent NHS payroll experience. You must have a good understanding of payroll legislation within the NHS and have excellent IT skills coupled with good attention to detail. A working knowledge of manual calculations are highly desirable
My Client is a large NHS based on the outskirts of Manchester. This is an excellent long-term temporary opportunity that is for a minimum of 3 months. Close to public transport links this is a great opportunity for an immediately available payroller.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
