Job Description

Moore Stephens London is a member firm of one of the leading international accounting and consulting groups outside the big 4, comprising 440 offices of member and correspondent firms in 93 countries worldwide involving some 17,000 partners, principals and staff.

Our public sector group has expanded rapidly over the past few years on the back of successful projects carried out on behalf of UK central government and international institutes, such as the European commission. 

Continued growth and diversification is expected and we therefore have a need for a high calibre Junior Audit Manager to manage and service the growth.

Working with an international focus; you will undertake a diverse range of project audit and investigative assignments for international institutions.  You will take responsibility for staff planning, field work, attending audit opening and closing meetings and reporting.

  • The role will involve considerable travel on assignments in any part of the world lasting from a few days to one or two weeks. 
  • They are typically in Europe, but can be in other interesting locations in Asia or Africa.
  • You will work as part of a two or three person team, including audit staff local to the assignment. 
  • The role best suits people with a sense of adventure, a love of travel and a genuine interest in international aid projects and other cultures (whether in developed or developing countries).
  • You will be a qualified accountant (CA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years external audit experience. 
  • Ideally, you will have exposure to public sector to international work.  You will have strong communication skills (both written and verbal) and be fluent in French (both written and verbal) 
  • It is also essential that you also have the willingness and ability to travel.
