Job Description
The London office of global accountants Moore Stephens is looking for an Audit Senior / Supervisor to join the newly formed Governance, Risk and Assurance (GRA) team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing department, where you will have significant input in establishing and delivering a range of services as well as being involved in sales and marketing activities.
The function is focused on developing and delivering the following advisory and support services:
- Corporate governance, including best practice reviews and board performance evaluation;
- Risk management, including risk assessments, workshops and risk management software;
- Internal audit, including establishing new functions, effectiveness of existing functions, providing outsourcing/partnering/specialist resources and review of risk and control processes;
- Regulatory compliance, including US SOX 404 reviews and FSA compliance reviews.
Working under the direction of the GRA Senior Manager / Director you will be expected to lead and perform separate governance, risk and compliance assignments.
The role involves delivering assignments on a portfolio of clients in different industries, you will focus on the quality of delivery and development of client relationships, ensuring all assignments meet agreed budgets.
- You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with sound internal audit experience.
- You will have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- You should have effective multi-tasking skills, proven experience of supervising a diverse portfolio of activities as well as strong project management skills.
