Our Birmingham office is currently seeking a tax senior to join the small and friendly team based in the town centre.

The client base in Birmingham offers a wide and demanding portfolio of clients. They provide all of the services you would expect from a top ten practice, including basic accounts preparation, VAT compliance, corporate finance and strategic tax advice.

The role is primarily compliance, including computation preparation from accounts and audit papers computations of quarterly corporate tax payments for allocated clients. You will also be dealing with correspondence from the Inland Revenue in order to agree corporation tax liabilities.

You will be a confident and capable communicator, such that you can liaise effectively with a diverse cross section of clients and explain technical matters in "layman's terms".

An accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) would be expected, as well as an interest in studying for the CTA qualification. You should have the ability to work under pressure with accuracy and focus.
