Job Description
Wages/Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a team at head office in Rochdale. The duties include processing wages for approximately 350 employees based over 5 sites using computer generated reports and piecework sheets. It is expected that you will have the relevant experience in wages calculations and the necessary working knowledge of current Government legislation. Other duties involved in the Purchase Ledger position include the processing of supplier invoices against our purchase orders, processing of supplier invoices against our purchase orders, processing payment runs and dealing queries
Experience in a similar Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role is essential, ideally in a stand alone position or one with high levels of responsibility. You will have good IT skills including Excel and experience using Oracle is desirable. You will take a mature approach to your work, be able to prioritise your workload and have excellent communication skills on all levels
