Job Description
This role will involve assisting the company accountant by looking after the ledger work, credit control and performing accruals and prepayments. There are 5 people in accounts and the progression in this role would involve you qualifying and becoming the company accountant as the current company accountant would progress into the Financial Controller role.
Candidates will ideally be at a graduate level within a relevant field and want to progress to an accountant status. This role also offers day release and offers a study support package. Successful candidates will be highly motivated and driven with a good basic knowledge of Excel, and any relevant accounting packages. We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Accountant role for an established vehicle leasing company based in the St Philips area of Bristol. This company has been running for over 10 years and has a turnover of 10 million per annum.
Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based finance experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered.
